Food Technology and Biotechnology (eISSN: 1334-2606, ISSN: 1330-9862) is a diamond open-access, peer-reviewed international journal devoted to the publication of papers covering the topics of food engineering and preservation, food quality and analysis, nutrition, applied microbiology, bioprocess (or biochemical) engineering and molecular biotechnology. The Journal is published by the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, Croatia. It is an official journal of Croatian Society of Biotechnology and Slovenian Microbiological Society, financed by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education, and supported by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
What is open access?
According to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), an open access journal is a journal that uses a funding model which does not charge readers or their institutions for access. From the BOAI definition of 'open access' we take the right of users to 'read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles' as mandatory for a journal to be included in the directory.
